Step One
Meet with your Energy Consultant
SolarMyHome will customize your solar system using satellite imagery of your location along with an analysis of your current energy usage. An Energy Consultant will stop by to present our proposal to you and discuss our process and your needs.
Step two
Engineering & Site Survey
Once you have accepted our proposal and signed a sales agreement, a SolarMyHome engineer will stop by for a site survey. The engineer will then complete detailed engineering plans for the project and submit a permit application to the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
Step Three
Go Solar!
Once the permit has been issued by the AHJ, one of our certified installer teams will come out to install, test, inspect and start up your brand new system. Your energy consultant will remain in contact with you to ensure that the interconnection process runs smoothly with your local utility company.
Step Four
Final Consultation
Once the installation process is complete, your energy consultant will walk you through what documentation you will need to receive any tax incentives or credits you are eligible for. We will also show you how to track your system from your smartphone, PC or tablet so you can see your savings and track your energy production!
